The challenge

Samaroh Banquets runs banquet halls in Thane West for weddings, engagements, birthdays and corporate events. For the year from April 2025 it logged between 192 and 338 leads a month, rising and falling with the wedding season, and from May to September 2025 it averaged 245. Enquiries arrived through a dozen channels, from walk-ins and phone calls to referrals and wedding portals like WedMeGood.

We set out to bring in more families who were planning an event, and to make every enquiry traceable to where it came from, so the ad budget could follow the bookings.

What we did

We built one system around the venue, and every week its reports decide where the next rupee goes.

  1. Ads and Maps
Meta, Google Search and the Google profile
  2. Enquiries captured
Each chat tagged real, junk or booked
  3. One CRM
Every lead with its source and outcome
  4. Weekly reports
    Spend moves to what books
Every weekThe reports send the budget back to the ads that book.

Ads judged on real enquiries

Meta ads went live in May 2026 and Google Search ads in July. Because every lead is tagged real, junk or booked, each ad is scored on the real enquiries it brings. The best ad spent ₹24,980 and brought 263 leads, 173 of them real, at ₹144 per real enquiry.

In September the same reports led us to stop paying for low-budget searches. We blocked words such as cheap and sasta (Hindi for cheap) and started a test of premium searches.

The Google profile and Maps

Every Sunday we check Samaroh's position on Google Maps from 100 points across Thane, for the eight searches families use most. For "birthday party hall thane" it now shows in the top 10 at 59 of the 100 points.
