We try to keep the Local Owl website honest and concrete. This page explains how to read the results, numbers, and examples you’ll find across the site. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].
1. Results and outcomes
Results vary and are not guaranteed. Local search outcomes depend on factors outside any agency’s control, including your market, your competition, your starting position, your category, and changes Google makes to its ranking systems. Timelines and ranking patterns we describe (for example, “most clients” seeing movement in a given window) reflect our general experience, not a promise about your specific business.
No agency can guarantee a specific ranking position, and Google’s terms prohibit agencies from doing so. We commit to the work and deliverables described in your agreement, not to a particular rank, traffic figure, or revenue outcome.
2. Statistics and data
Statistics shown on the site are either illustrative or drawn from third-party sources, and are provided for general context. Where we cite a figure, it reflects industry data or our own practitioner experience at the time of writing; it is not a representation that you will see the same result.
3. Sample visuals and examples
Dashboard mockups, ranking widgets, scorecards, and similar visuals on the site use sample data for illustration. Any business names that appear inside those visuals or examples are fictional unless we explicitly identify a named client with their permission.
4. No affiliation with Google
Google, Google Maps, Google Business Profile, and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC. Local Owl is an independent agency and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google. References to the “Product Expert” program describe a volunteer community credential Google awards for verified contributions to its forums; it does not confer special access to, or control over, Google systems or account decisions.
